India, July 22 -- One person tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha's Ganjam district on Wednesday.

According to reports, the patient was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital for treatment. However, no information regarding the patient's health condition was immediately available.

The detection of the fresh case drew attention as neighbouring Andhra Pradesh also reported COVID-19 infections.
