Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- In a significant development, a commercial court has directed the seizure of office equipment and other assets belonging to the Office of the Director of Land Records and Survey in Cuttack for the recovery of outstanding dues amounting to Rs 9.44 crore.

The order was issued following a petition filed by a Silvassa-based private firm seeking payment of its pending dues. Acting on the plea, the court directed that the attachment and seizure process be completed by March 10.
