Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- Dayanidhi and Pramila Behera, an elderly couple from Narendra Kona area in Puri district, spent their entire lives raising their children with love and care. Dayanidhi, aged 83, ran a small slipper business to sustain the family, while also ensuring his two sons received education.

The couple nurtured, guided, and provided for their children, teaching them the value of responsibility, respect, and family bonds.

From Care to Cruelty

Tragically, in their old age, the same children turned away from their duties. The elderly couple was allegedly denied proper food, basic care, and respect. Instead, they were subjected to verbal abuse, humiliation, and neglect inside their own home.
