Bhubaneswar, June 7 -- Price of domestic LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 29 across the country, pushing the cost of a 14 kg cylinder in Odisha to Rs 968 from Sunday. The latest revision comes barely three months after a Rs 60 hike in March and is expected to add pressure on household budgets.

With the revised rates now in force, consumers across Odisha will have to pay Rs 968 for a 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder, compared to the earlier price of Rs 939.

Similarly, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in New Delhi has increased from Rs 913 to Rs 942.

The latest revision follows an earlier increase of Rs 60 on March 7, marking another rise in cooking fuel costs within a short span.
