Complaint against bull in Odisha! Puri farmers approach police over destruction of crops
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 28 -- More than 100 farmers from several panchayats in Odisha's Puri approached Balanga police on Thursday over alleged crop damage caused by bulls and calves. The farmers sought a solution to the problem, stating that the animals damaged vegetable crops as well as paddy fields.
The issue reportedly intensified as the number of bulls in the area reportedly increased. Farmers from Uchhupur, Gopinathpur, Balanga, Chandraideipur and Rupudeipur panchayats raised concerns over the repeated damage to their crops.
