Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4 -- Cuttack Urban Police District (UPD) carried out an enforcement drive on September 2, 2026. During the drive, 600 vehicles were verified and fines totalling Rs 6,75,000 were imposed. The data was shared as a report by the DCP Cuttack through the official X handle.

The report also stated that two drunk drivers were detected during the enforcement conducted on September 2.

As part of the enforcement activity, Cuttack UPD verified 600 vehicles. The drive was aimed at checking vehicles and enforcing traffic and other applicable regulations.

A fine of Rs 23,000 was imposed under the Odisha Urban Police Act (OUP Act), while a total fine of Rs 6,75,000 was imposed during the enforcement drive.
