Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- A college student was rescued after getting stranded on Rukhi Hill near Nayagarh town while returning from a visit to the hill on Sunday. The incident triggered a rescue operation involving the police, fire services and Forest Department.

The stranded student has been identified as Aditya Dora. He is a plus 3 commerce student at a private college in Nayagarh.

After he was unable to return, Aditya informed his elder brother about the situation over the phone. His family subsequently reached the police station and informed the authorities.
