Bhubaneswar, April 6 -- A college student was allegedly abducted in the Patkura area of Odisha's Kendrapara district while returning home from coaching classes on Monday. This prompted a police search operation that led to the detention of three suspects.

The incident took place at Jamunabad Gada under Patkura police station limits, where the student was allegedly kidnapped by three youths travelling in a car.

According to information, the student was returning home along with another girl after attending coaching classes when the incident occurred. The accused reportedly pushed one of the girls and forcibly abducted the other before fleeing from the spot in a car.
