Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- Passengers in Odisha are likely to see improved rail connectivity after the Centre approved a new Amrit Bharat train service between Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and Dhanbad in Jharkhand.
The train will pass through nine stations in Odisha, enhancing connectivity for passengers from southern and western parts of the state.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi welcomed the decision and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the new service. He said the train would significantly improve travel convenience and strengthen interstate connectivity.
