Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- A large cobra was safely rescued from the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Malkangiri, Odisha, on Wednesday after it was spotted near the main gate of the hospital premises, close to a Ganesh temple. The sighting triggered panic among patients and their attendants, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The cobra was first noticed by a priest who had come to the temple to perform daily prayers. Upon spotting the snake, the priest immediately alerted hospital authorities, who in turn contacted the local snake helpline for assistance.
