Bhubaneswar, May 31 -- The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a fine of Rs 7,00,000 on Vajiram and Ravi IAS Study Centre LLP for making misleading claims about the performance of candidates in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE), in violation of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The authority's decision aims to protect consumer rights, ensure transparency in coaching services, and prevent false or exaggerated advertisements.
