Bhubaneswar, April 7 -- An Ama bus traveling to Bhubaneswar hit a hyva truck from behind near Padmanabh Nagar Chhak in Baranga area of Cuttack on Tuesday. Due to the collision, two windows of the bus were shattered, but there was no major injury to the passengers.

Those sitting near the window seat of the bus narrowly escaped serious injuries. But the incident left the nearby commuters in panic, said a local.

The incident has once again raised concerns related to the rising cases of accidents involving Ama buses in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

Further investigation is expected to clarify the exact cause of the collision.
