Bhubaneswar, Sept. 1 -- Children at an Anganwadi centre in Ramachandrapur under Kaptipada block of Odisha's Mayurbhanj district have allegedly been going without cooked meals for nearly a month. The centre has around 30 children enrolled, but only one or two are reportedly turning up now as regular food and other activities have stopped.

The centre is reportedly short of rice and firewood, leaving the helper unable to cook meals. The few children who come to the centre are allegedly being given only dry food. Parents and villagers have also alleged that the children are neither being taught nor engaged in regular activities at the centre.
