Child trafficking racket busted at Balasore Station; five minors rescued, agents detained
Bhubaneswar, April 25 -- A major child trafficking racket was busted at Balasore railway station in Odisha following a coordinated operation by multiple agencies on Friday night. Five children were rescued from the Jasidih-Bengaluru Express, while five agents were detained by the police in connection with the case.
The operation was carried out jointly by the RPF, GRP, CIB Kharagpur, and the District Child Protection Unit. The swift action helped prevent the trafficking of the minors, who were reportedly being transported across states.
