Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- A large quantity of ganja was seized from a car on the Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Biju Expressway near Kherual area in Odisha. The seizure was made during a routine police patrolling operation on the expressway on Saturday.

According to reports, police officials noticed a suspicious car moving on the Sambalpur-Jharsuguda route and attempted to stop the vehicle for checking. However, after seeing the police team, the driver allegedly tried to escape and accelerated the car at high speed.
