Chennai Express murder case: Odisha woman's murder accused couple arrested in Manipur
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 31 -- After remaining on the run for 24 days, a couple wanted in connection with the alleged murder of an Odisha woman and disposal of her dismembered body on the Chennai Express was arrested in Manipur.
The accused have been identified as 22-year-old Manik Uddin Laskar of Assam's Cachar district and his 21-year-old wife, Bhagabati Majhi of Keonjhar district in Odisha.
According to national media reports, a joint team of Manipur and Tamil Nadu Police reportedly arrested the couple in Jiribam district on Saturday.
