Chaiti Parba festivities begin at Maa Tarini Temple in Odisha's Keonjhar
Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- The Maa Tarini Temple at Ghatgaon in Odisha's Keonjhar turned festive with the commencement of the Chaiti Parba festival, drawing large numbers of devotees from across the region.
The temple administration made extensive arrangements for the seven-day-long festival to ensure smooth conduct of rituals and crowd management.
The temple premises were decorated with lights and flowers for the occasion. Special arrangements were also put in place as lakhs of devotees are expected to visit the shrine during the festival period.
As part of the celebrations, the presiding deity will be adorned in Suna Besha, a significant ritual that attracts large gatherings every year.
