Bhubaneswar, March 21 -- In a unique step towards promoting wellness during air travel, the Ministry of Ayush has introduced a short, in-flight yoga routine designed to help passengers stay active and relaxed even at cruising altitude.
The initiative, unveiled during Yoga Mahotsav 2026, aims to tackle common travel-related issues such as stiffness, fatigue, and stress that arise during long flights.
The specially curated 5-minute yoga protocol has been developed by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. It focuses on simple, seat-based movements and breathing exercises that can be easily performed without any equipment.
