CBSE OSM row deepens; Union Education Minister assures action over evaluation irregularities
Bhubaneswar, May 28 -- The controversy surrounding CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) system is intensifying. Around 4 lakh Class 12 students have applied to the board for scanned copies of their answer sheets. However, many students have alleged that their answer scripts were not evaluated properly.
Protesting against these irregularities, several student organisations staged demonstrations in front of the CBSE headquarters on Thursday. Meanwhile, Union Education MinisterDharmendra Pradhan addressed the issue and said that he is taking responsibility for the matter, adding that strict action will be taken against those found guilty if any irregularities are detected.
