Bhubaneswar, April 18 -- Around 18.5 lakh students are eagerly awaiting the Class 12 board examination results for 2026, with expectations building across the country. While there has been no official confirmation yet, multiple media reports suggest that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may announce the results by the end of April.

This year, CBSE has introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) for the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets. Under this system, physical answer sheets are scanned and uploaded to a secure digital platform, enabling examiners to assess them online.
