Bhubaneswar, April 10 -- A bribery allegation involving three Income Tax officials in Khordha has led to the registration of a case by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after evidence supporting the claims was found. The accused officials include Inspector T. Satya Narayan Rao, Clerk Bhimsen Barik, and Data Entry Operator Kumar Samaresh.

The case stems from a complaint filed by Subash Chandra Sahoo, a farmer from Panchgaon under the Airfield police station. Sahoo approached the KhordhaIncome Tax office to request the deactivation of a newly issued PAN card.
