Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4 -- Police seized bundles of cash worth crores and a quintal of ganja in a major raid in Gopalpur village in Puri district, Odisha, on Friday. The bundles of cash were found hidden while cops had gone to recover around 176 packets of ganja during the raid.

According to the reports, two people had allegedly rented a house belonging to contractor Chandradhwaj Patra near the Pharmacy College in the area. The two were reportedly using the rented house for ganja-related activities.

Pentha Kata Police received information about the alleged ganja trade from a special source. Acting on the information, police conducted a raid at the rented house.
