Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- The administration once again carried out a bulldozer drive in Barbil town of Odisha's Keonjhar district, demolishing the houses of three individuals accused of criminal activities and illegally occupying government land, officials said on Wednesday.

The action was undertaken in different parts of the Barbil municipality as part of an ongoing crackdown against alleged offenders who have constructed houses on encroached government property.

According to officials, one of the demolished houses belonged to MD Rohit of Hirakud Colony in Nalda under Ward No. 1 of Barbil Municipality. Authorities said 6 criminal cases are registered against him. He was allegedly residing in a house constructed on government land.
