Bhubaneswar, July 9 -- Authorities deployed bulldozers to demolish the houses of six men accused in a recent murder case at Narayani Basti under the Sector 7 Police Station limits in Rourkela on Thursday.

As per reports, the suspects had built illegal houses in the settlement, where they were also allegedly running a brown sugar trafficking racket.

The demolition targeted the houses of the murder accused, identified as Chinu Haripa, Kalia Nayak, Chhotu Nayak, Babu Landa alias Santosh Nayak, and Rohit Haripa.

According to reports, the suspects attacked two local youths who had actively opposed their illicit drug trade in the area.
