Bhubaneswar, Oct. 6 -- A house belonging to alleged professional criminal Debashish Nayak, alias Salu, was demolished at Sailashree Vihar in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday following his alleged involvement in multiple criminal cases.

The demolition was carried out at the FR Colony by Chandrasekharpur Police in a joint operation with the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Commissionerate Police.

Police said the action was taken against Salu over his alleged involvement in several criminal activities. More than 10 cases related to assault and other criminal offences are reportedly registered against him.
