Bhubaneswar, Nov. 4 -- Police have seized brown sugar worth approximately Rs 26 lakh and arrested four alleged drug peddlers in Odisha's Puri district following a raid near the Delang Kuapada Baneswar Temple area on Wednesday.

According to reports, four persons allegedly involved in the illegal sale and distribution of brown sugar were arrested by Police.

Reportedly, police seized 261 grams of brown sugar during the operation. The estimated market value of the contraband is around Rs 26 lakh.

Police also recovered a pistol, six mobile phones, Rs 6,000 in cash, a black-and-silver Maruti Ertiga car and two motorcycles, including a blue Yamah...
