Bhubaneswar, June 4 -- The second day of the BRICS Disaster Risk Reduction Working Group's technical meeting is being held in Puri, with representatives from 11 countries participating in the three-day event.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to attend the conference on Thursday and will formally inaugurate the proceedings. The meeting is focused on strengthening cooperation and sharing best practices in disaster risk reduction and management among BRICS member nations and partner countries.
