Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- In an extraordinary turn of events in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district on Wednesday, a woman who had been declared "brain dead" by doctors at a private hospital showed signs of life after the ambulance carrying her body home for last rites hit a pothole. The incident left family members stunned and has since drawn attention across the city.

Sudden Illness and Hospitalisation

The woman, Vinita Shukla, works as a head copyist at the Pilibhit district court. She reportedly fell seriously ill at her residence, prompting her husband, Kuldeep Shukla, to rush her to a government hospital in the city. Given her critical condition, doctors referred her to Bareilly for advanced treatment.
