Bhubaneswar, June 1 -- Four minors were detained in Mayurbhanj's Kaptipada while they were helping one of their friends to loot a mobile shop to gift an expensive phone to his girlfriend. The matter came to the fore after Kaptipada police uncovered the unusual attempted robbery involving the four minors on Monday.

The incident came to light near Udala Krushak Bazaar when four minors had hired a car from local driver Ajay Dalai, claiming they needed to travel to Balasore for a fare of Rs 1,500. Unaware of their intentions, the driver transported the minors to their destination.
