Bhubaneswar, April 2 -- A bomb threat received via email prompted a security alert at the Sambalpur District Court, with police deploying specialised teams to conduct a thorough search of the premises.

According to initial information, the threat was communicated through an email, following which authorities initiated immediate precautionary measures. Court proceedings were underway as usual prior to the alert.

A bomb disposal squad, along with a dog squad and police personnel, was deployed to the court premises. Teams carried out an extensive search operation, including checks inside the court building.
