Bhubaneswar, March 12 -- Security was tightened at the court complex in Bhubaneswar on Thursday after an e-mail threat claimed that the premises would be blown up with a bomb, triggering panic and a swift security response.

According to preliminary information, an unidentified miscreant sent the threat through an e-mail warning of a possible bomb attack on the court. Following the alert, Badagada police immediately launched a security operation across the premises.

Teams of sniffer dogs and the bomb squad were deployed to carry out a thorough search inside the court complex. Officials conducted inspections in multiple areas to ensure there was no explosive device present.
