Bolangir youth laid to rest after Odisha govt helps bring mortal remains back from Karnataka
Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- Mortal remains of Debendra Suna, a youth from Bolangir district who passed away in Karnataka, reached his native village in the early hours of Saturday after intervention by the Odisha government following a social media appeal for assistance.
Debendra's body arrived at Siletpada village under Saintala block at around 2 am, and his last rites were performed later in the morning.
Debendra Suna passed away due to anaemia at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Following his death, his elderly parents were reportedly unable to clear the hospital dues and arrange for his body to be transported back to Odisha.
The family was not in a position to pay the outstanding hospital bill, which was reported to be around Rs 1.5 lak...
