Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- A new development emerged in the alleged tender fixing case in the Rural Development (RD) Division in Bolangir. The complainant contractor directly approached OdishaChief Minister Mohan Majhi with a formal complaint during his recent visit to the district.

Contractor Haji Mohammad Sakil went to the Circuit House and handed over the written complaint, alleging irregularities in the tender process.

He claimed that the tender process was manipulated illegally and that he was excluded despite being eligible. The development comes amid ongoing scrutiny over alleged irregularities in the RD department's tender procedures.
