Bhubaneswar, Sept. 23 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the names of its in-charges for different states and Union Territories on Wednesday. Senior BJP leader and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda has been appointed as the party's in-charge for Maharashtra.

The appointments were announced by BJP national president Nitin Nabin and took effect immediately.

D Purandeswari Appointed Odisha In-Charge

D Purandeswari has been given the responsibility of Odisha in-charge, while Dr Swadesh Singh has been appointed as the co-in-charge of Odisha.

According to the announcement, Jayaprakash has been assigned responsibility for Andaman and Nicobar, while Devesh Kumar has been appointed in-charge of Arunachal Pradesh.
