Bhubaneswar, June 11 -- BJP on Thursday accused the previous BJD government of deliberately concealing two sensitive inquiry files, one related to the killing of Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati and another linked to the SUM Hospital fire investigation. BJP also alleged that the files went missing from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) after election trends on June 4, 2024 showed the BJP moving ahead.

Addressing a press conference, Odisha BJP general secretary Biranchi Tripathy alleged that while official files were transferred to the Home Department, two specific files were not moved and were allegedly withheld in a planned manner.
