India, Aug. 24 -- Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Subas Singh has been appointed as the president of the reconstituted Biju Shramik Samukhya. The announcement came following the restructuring of the organisation in which several leaders have been assigned key responsibilities.

Senior leader Prafulla Samal has been appointed as the adviser to the Samukhya, while Naba Kishore Mohanty has been entrusted with the responsibility of executive president.

The new appointments include leaders in various organisational positions.

New Office-Bearers Announced Pritiranjan Gharai, Braja Kishore Pradhan, Jogesh Singh, Ananta Narayan Jena, Swarup Das, Ranjita Sahu and Jogendra Singh have been appointed as vice-presidents of the organisation.
