Bhubaneswar, March 29 -- After enduring 34 days of uncertainty in a tense conflict zone amid the Middle East crisis, a wave of relief has finally reached the crew of two LPG-laden vessels now en route to India, Odia marine officer Ashok Kumar Dixit, who serves as the Chief Officer of the LPG carrier 'BW ELM', informed on Sunday.
The two container ships, which had been stranded in the middle of the sea due to escalating war-like conditions, have successfully crossed the strategically critical Strait of Hormuz and are proceeding safely under the escort of the Indian Navy.
