Bhubaneswar, Aug. 7 -- Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha's Bhubaneswar is set to expand its African Savannah zone with the addition of new animals.

Renowned for its distinctive black-and-white striped coat, graceful movements and unique social behavior, the Zebra will be one of the new arrivals. The expansion is expected to allow visitors to experience the beauty of African wildlife more closely.

The Red Kangaroo, Australia's largest and most iconic marsupial, is also set to join the zoo's animal collection. The species is expected to become another key attraction at Nandankanan, which is known for its powerful leaps and characteristic pouch.
