Bhubaneswar, June 5 -- Odishagovernment announced plans to revamp the Unit-IV Market in Bhubaneswar on Friday. Separate sections for non-vegetarian products and vegetables will be made to improve hygiene and provide better facilities for traders.

Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra said the redevelopment would be carried out under a master plan, benefiting hundreds of traders operating in the market.

According to the Minister, the existing market infrastructure requires significant improvement, particularly in terms of cleanliness and organisation.

More than 300 non-vegetarian traders and over 400 vegetable traders are expected to benefit from the proposed restructuring.
