Bhubaneswar, Oct. 12 -- The series of accidents along the Cuttack-Puri Bypass in Bhubaneswar on Monday took a serious turn after CCTV footage reportedly suggested that the incident near Kesora was an alleged attempt to kill people, not an accident. Police arrested the driver, Soumya Rath, on charges of attempted murder.

According to reports, the incident followed an altercation between the driver and employees of a roadside eatery. CCTV footage showed the driver allegedly driving recklessly at high speed towards people in the Kesora area. Three people were injured and seven motorcycles were damaged in the incident.
