Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- The Works Department is set to undertake special repair work on the road linking Master Canteen Square with the entry gate of Bhubaneswar railway station. The key approach stretch is used daily by passengers, autorickshaws, cabs and families dropping off or receiving relatives.

The move comes amid the ongoing redevelopment of Bhubaneswar railway station and is aimed at improving accessibility and commuter convenience. The stretch is used by thousands of passengers and vehicles every day.

Officials said that upgrading the approach road has become necessary to complement the station redevelopment.
