Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- In a major development in the test drive loot case in Bhubaneswar, the high-end Land Rover Defender that was stolen on Wednesday was recovered within hours. Police traced the vehicle to Khalikote in Ganjam on Thursday.

Bhubaneswar's Bharatpur Police informed that the vehicle was tracked and recovered within three hours of the complaint, following a coordinated search operation.

The miscreants took the vehicle under the pretext of a test drive and fled after allegedly threatening the showroom representative at gunpoint. They also escaped with cash worth around Rs 1.5 lakh.
