Bhubaneswar, Oct. 2 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday, October 1, 2026, filed a chargesheet against two accused persons in connection with the Bhubaneswar bomb blast case. The chargesheet was submitted before the Special NIA Court in Bhubaneswar under various sections of the BNS, ES Act and Explosive Act.

According to reports, the accused have been identified as Sanu alias Rohan Ranjan Rout and Amiya Ranjan Mallik (A-3). The case relates to a bomb blast at New Azadnagar area in Sundarpada under the Airfield Police Station area of Bhubaneswar UPD.

The incident took place on January 27, 2026, at around 2:45 pm when four persons were allegedly preparing bombs with the intention of committing a crime.
