Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- To address increasing traffic congestion along one of the capital city's most crowded routes, the Odisha Works Department has proposed a comprehensive redesign of the Jayadev Vihar to Nandankanan corridor, drawing inspiration from Chandigarh's urban road planning framework.
Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan on Wednesday stated that during a recent visit to Chandigarh, he examined its traffic management approach, particularly the integration of arterial roads with an efficient ring road system that keeps vehicular movement smooth and largely congestion-free.
