Bhubaneswar, May 19 -- Even a day after a young couple was allegedly assaulted in the middle of a road in Odisha's Berhampur city on Monday evening, police are yet to make any arrests in the case. However, raids are reportedly underway to trace the identified accused persons.

The incident took place on Giri Road under Baidyanathpur police limits and came to light after a video of the assault went viral on social media. The footage showed a group of youths allegedly attacking the couple with sticks in public view.

Police registered a case against more than five accused persons, including Ashish Sahu and Mukesh Sahu. Officials said the accused persons have already been identified and search operations are underway at multiple locations. ...
