Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- Tensions continued to prevail in Puruna Berhampur over the death of MV Constable Ashutosh Mrudangia, with family members and local residents staging a road blockade since Thursday night.

Locals and family members kept the deceased constable's body on the road and continued their sit-in throughout the night, disrupting traffic in the area. The agitation remained underway at the time of reporting.

The family demanded the arrest of Ashutosh's wife, Sandhyarani, and his brother-in-law in connection with the case.
