Bhubaneswar, Oct. 13 -- Several posts of Block Education Officers (BEOs) and Assistant Block Education Officers (ABEOs) remain vacant in Koraput and Malkangiri districts of Odisha. The shortage has raised concerns over school monitoring and the implementation of government education schemes.

Koraput has 14 blocks, but 10 BEO posts and 30 ABEO posts are vacant. These officers are responsible for monitoring schools and overseeing the implementation of schemes such as Samagra Shiksha.
