Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- A sharp rise in benchmark land values in Odisha's Bolangir district has led to growing concern among residents. Both buyers and sellers are reportedly facing difficulties in land transactions. 

The benchmark value reportedly increased over the past four years, with current rates exceeding those in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the Odisha government revised benchmark land values across the state in the new financial year. While the rates vary across regions, Bolangir town and its surrounding areas witnessed a significant increase.
