Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- Several people allegedly carried away cartons of beer from an overturned pick-up vehicle following a road accident on National Highway 16 under Jaleswar police station limits in Odisha's Balasore district on Saturday.

The incident took place in front of Mirchi Masala Restaurant when a car reportedly rammed into a pick-up van loaded with beer. The impact caused the pick-up vehicle to lose balance and overturn on the roadside.

According to reports, people gathered at the spot after the accident. However, instead of assisting the injured, several individuals allegedly took advantage of the situation and removed cartons of beer from the overturned vehicle.
