Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- In Singpur village under Sanakhemundi block of Odisha's Ganjam district, 45-year-old Sudarshan Bisoyi's life changed completely after he was struck by an unknown illness. Once a daily wage labourer working in Bhubaneswar to support his family, Sudarshan has been confined to bed for the last three years.

Unable to walk without support and struggling with daily pain, he depends entirely on others even for basic needs. The illness has not only taken away his strength but also the family's main source of income.
